Handmade tiles by Thor Below you will find thumbnails of all the different colors that I can make in tile. Some of the tiles are plain, most are impressed with lace. I use four different clay bodies and one glaze per row. The clay bodies are identified by the last digit in the number below the tile. They are from left to right. 1-Speckled Clay, 2-White Clay, 3-Red Clay and 4-Black Clay. Not all of the glazes will work on all of the clay bodies, you may see pinholes or crawling, especially with the black clay body. I will consult with you to answer questions and point you in a successful direction. Prices I charge $35.00 a square foot for plain field tile and $45.00 a square foot for impressed field tile. Architectural tile (made for a specific site and freeform) is $75.00 a square foot. Local Installation I do all Architectural Installations but I prefer that you hire an installer or install it yourself with the square tile. I will consult with you should you do it yourself. I will as a last means install square tile that I made. I do not install commercial tile. Samples I strongly suggest ordering samples so that you can get a feel for what you are considering. 4x4 tile samples are $5.00 a tile. You can order by copying and pasting the number below the tile into our comments section in the shopping cart or just sending an email containing sample numbers you would like. It may take a few weeks to get samples made if I do not have blanks made up to glaze Time Making tile is my hobby, I am a potter by trade. What this means is that during my pottery season (August-December) I can get you samples and do small orders (less than 50 square feet) but not much more. All tile is made to order which can take up to 8 weeks during my off season, which is also the Building season. If you are doing a new home, please take this into consideration. If you are remodeling, than plan for this. I will give estimations to anyone who emails me with specifics. Colors Blues Click on tile for LARGER image
